Have you ever wondered why you struggle so much? It's not just you, it's all of us! Do you spend a lot of time going around the racetrack of confusion and indecision? Well, this week we are tuning in a little more specifically to those feelings we often experience as humans, with some really helpful and encouraging guidance that will give you a little something to nibble on. Nine little tidbits in fact! Consider it a gift from beyond.

When I asked for some tips on how to walk more peacefully through our human experience, I was given nine concise themes. As the messages were quite specific, I will simply deliver them to you as they were delivered to me, with words flowing onto the page.


2. Trust your inner knowing : Be guided by your inner feelings. There may be many situations arising that will require decisions and choices over the next few weeks. Take time to sit quietly, close your eyes, slow your breathing and ask for guidance. Write down what comes through without thinking or questioning. Trust your inner knowing, your gut. It is never wrong.

2. Use silence as your guide : Be conservative with your words. Notice your inner voice as well as those around you. Resist the urge to speak, offer advice, and to flood interractions with words. Learn to listen more. Silence is your super-power.

3. Doing nothing is not a sign of weakness : It is far better to do nothing with grace, than to waste energy running around in circles. Notice when you are procrastinating, and filling in the spaces by appearing busy. If you have no clear purpose, direction or inclination, then pause and do nothing until you are sure. Conserving energy is a a very wise choice when you are uncertain. Wait with grace.


4. Learn to make your own music : Allow your creativity to be a little more free, and play around with sound as a way of expressing your emotions. It is a wonderful way of releasing stress, and acts as a portal for transforming situations and human states of mind. Make your own music or sounds with your voice. Learn to hum along to your own inner song, or explore new types of sounds. Listen to the symphony in nature, or play around using different instruments to create interesting sounds.

Everything is sound, and has its own song. It will always lead you home.

5. Pay attention to where your focus is during the day : Are you continually in your head with thoughts? This is the same as sleep walking. You are there, but not really there. Don't waste your time being asleep while you are supposed to be awake. Be present. When you notice your attention has drifted off, say to yourself, "I am right here now. I am fully awake."

6. Embracing your individuality will create unity with others : This sounds like a paradox, but you must believe in yourself. Notice when others diminish your confidence and smother your light. It is ok to follow your choices and do things your way. You do not need anyones permission to be you. Also, notice when you do this to others. Let it be, and let others be free to be themselves as well. Authenticity will dissolve the layers of confusion, illusion and separation.

7. The world is not black and white : Notice the many shades of colours that create depth and meaning. To understand this, look closely at all the shades of green in nature. Green is not just green. In the same way, there are an infinite amount of ways to approach the same situation. Don't take no for an answer. Keep looking for a different shade, approach or perspective that resonates.

8. Resist the urge to keep holding on : Allow old habits to soften and dissolve when they are ready to leave. Ask yourself what you are holding onto, and why? Letting go is a very liberating practice. Simplicity is the peaceful follower.


9. There is always peace within the chaos : Stop struggling to be somewhere else. Everything finds its balance eventually. You might need to zoom out to create space and perspective. When you are caught up in something, you cannot see past your own nose. Step back and breathe into awareness when you are feeling squeezed. This too will pass.
